West High School

Madison West was founded in 1930, and its current principal is Karen Boran with Michael Jones serving as Dean of Students. While at West I decided to focus my blog on their award winning Forensics (Public Speaking) team.

What is Forensics you may ask? Forensic speech is the study and practice of public speaking and debate according to the American Forensic Association. School and college contests are patterned after ancient Greek competitions at public forums.

The current long time Forensics coach at Madison West High School is John Rademacher who recently received  his second Diamond Award from the National Speech and Debate Association this past year.
